From San Jose city and San Jose Airport SJO to Playa Potrero (Potrero Beach) we are able to offer you two types of services: Collective Shuttle and Private Shuttle, please review the following information:

Collective Shuttle:
Morning:
- At 7:20am from San Jose Hotels
- At 8:15am from San Jose Airport area
(Arriving by 1:15pm)

Afternoon
- At 2:30pm from San Jose Hotels
- At 3:00pm from San Jose Airport area

- At 3:55pm from San Jose Airport area
(Arriving by 08:00pm)

This collective shuttle is rated in $45 per person, per way.


Private Transportation Service:
At the time of your arrival one of our drivers would be waiting for you at the airport exit with a sign with your name on it. From there you would be assisted.
The total rate for this service is $250 (per way, from 1 to 4 guests and $25 the extra guest after 4)
Includes: Your own private driver, own private minibus or large SUV
Departure time is selected by the client. (Please provide your arrival flight itinerary)

- At 7:00am from Playa Potrero / Arriving at 12:30pm into San Jose area.
- At 1:30pm from Playa Potrero / Arriving at 07:00pm into San Jose area.

This collective shuttle is rated in $45 per person, per way.

Private VIP Service:
This is a private service with your own driver and own vehicle door to door service. At the time of your election the driver would be go directly to your hotel to pick you up, from there you would be assisted.
The total rate for this service is $250 (per way, from 1 to 4 guests and $25 the extra guest after 4)
Includes: Stops as you pleased for sightseeing, bath, or restaurant + Your own private driver, own private minibus or large SUV.
Departure time is selected by the client.

Playa Potrero

Playa Potrero is a wonderfully tranquil place for passing the day, lying on warm sand, bathing in the sun and reading in the shade of palm trees. On the beach's north end, the small fishing village of Potrero looks to Playa Potrero and its bay. Toward the southern end, sits the chic beach community of Playa Flamingo.

The quiet and gorgeous bay of Playa Potrero is situated in the province of Guanacaste, where visitors enjoy dreamy summer days along the numerous beaches and warm turquoise waters. The area is rich with exotic plant and wildlife, and to the east, a string of volcanic mountain ranges boarder the Province. 

In the Playa Potrero area, visitors can choose from a wide variety of water sports such as Scuba Diving, snorkeling, and kayaking. They can also enjoy world-class deep-sea fishing for Marlin, Tuna and Swordfish. The Playa Flamingo community to the south, maintains a full service marina, offering boating excursions and water sport rentals.  For those wanting to get off the beach and discover the surrounding rainforest, Santa Rosa National Park and Palo Verde Natural Reserve are not far away.

To reach the small paradise of Playa Potrero, a drive from Liberia's International Airport takes 45 minutes, or it is four and a half hours from San Jose.
